Abstract

In this paper, comprising two parts, authors present some techniques which are contemporarily used for monitoring the process of pharmacotherapy of depression.
The application of monitoring techniques such as: precise clinical efficacy assessment, determination of drug concentration in blood (TDM) and evaluation of pharmaco – EEG studies, enables the optimization of antidepressive treatment in case of an individual patient.
